Sixth and Final LNG train Comes Online

The Origin-operated Australia Pacific LNG (APLNG) project has produced its maiden LNG cargo from the second of its production trains. 

“Production of the first LNG cargo from the projects second train on Curtis Island near Gladstone represents a defining moment in Australia Pacific LNG’s eight-year journey from project establishment to ongoing exports,” said Origin Managing Director Grant King.

The start up of APLNG's second train signifies the final stages of the $80 billion infrastructure investment made in the Queensland gas export market.
