Chaney says floating LNG processing most likely

Woodside's chairman Michael Chaney says floating LNG is the most likely option for developing the Browse gas basin.


The company yesterday announced it had signed an agreement with its joint venture partner Shell that would allow it to use the technology for the project.


Woodside recently shelved plans for a multi-billion dollar processing hub at James Price Point, north of Broome.
